Add screenshots manually
Open Recall and use + Add to choose screenshots. Recall only sees the photos or media access you grant through Android.
Automatic import is not immediate
Android can limit background activity, so automatic import timing may vary. If a screenshot has not appeared yet, open Recall or add it manually.
Search cannot find text
Recall searches stored recognized text, titles and notes. Current text recognition supports Latin-script text and depends on image clarity. Bangla OCR and visual image understanding are not included in this release.
A screenshot preview is unavailable
Confirm Recall still has the required photo access and that the original image remains in your gallery. If the source photo is removed or access is lost, its preview may be unavailable.
Pause import or erase Recall data
Open Settings → Data & privacy. You can pause automatic import or erase Recall records. Erasing Recall data leaves the original gallery images untouched.
Calendar, share and browser actions
These actions open another app. Calendar opens an editable draft; saving or scheduling happens in Calendar. Share uses Android's share sheet. Research online opens a browser search based on the saved title.
